I could a bit more seasoning on the inside of the fried fish but overall its a great place to eat the food was great and the service was fast and the workers were very nice
WOW THIS PLACE WAS NOT THE ORIGINAL HOOKS RESTAURANT AS PEOPLE THOUGHT. THEY USED THE NAME OF HOOKS TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY. NOW THEY ARE CALLED CHICKEN AND FISH? THE FOOD IS OVER BATTERED TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A BIGGER PORTION OF SEAFOOD, CHICKEN, OR GIZZARDS, ETC. THERE FOOD HAS WAY TOO MUCH SALT. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE IS NOT WHAT IM BUYING. EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR A WAY TO MAKE MONEY EVEN IF ITS ILLEGAL. I CANT BUY A BUILDING AND JUST CALL IT WALMART. WELL THIS IS WHAT THIS GAS STATION DID. HOOKS IS OPENING IN PHATZ OLD BUILDING ON US1 AND AVE D AREA. THEY STILL HAVE A BUNCH OR ARTICLES FROM YELP AND OTHER PLACES CALLING THEMSELVES HOOKS. SOUNDS LIKE A FRESH LAWSUIT TO ME😉😉😉😉
The food was delicious, I got the catfish. It was enough for two meals. I did not order ahead, but it didn’t take long. It’s in a gas station so you have to look for the sign on the building. I will definitely go back.
